The Northeast Community Federal Credit Union (NECFCU) is a non-profit, member-owned, federally insured community development credit union (CDCU) formed in 1981. We are a certified Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) and the U.S Department of the Treasury CDFI program has recognized our high impact on the communities we serve. Serving mainly the Chinatown, Tenderloin and SOMA neighborhoods in San Francisco, we promote grass-roots community development through financial stability, economic literacy, small business development and home ownership. We are also a grantee of the USPAACC/SBA Community Navigator Pilot Program
